Independence and risk
Who pays us, and what that should make you think.
We are paid by the firms listed on this site. That is a conflict of interest, it is worth stating plainly, and this page explains exactly how far it goes.
We are not a prop firm
PropDegenerate does not run evaluations, does not fund traders, does not operate a trading platform and does not hold anyone's capital. We are an independent rewards platform sitting alongside firms that do those things. We are not an authorised representative of any firm on this site and we do not speak for them.
When you buy, you buy from the firm. Their terms govern the evaluation, the rules, the platform, the profit split and the payout. If something goes wrong with any of that, your counterparty is the firm, not us.
How we are paid
When you use a tracked link on this site and buy from a firm, that firm pays us an affiliate commission. We share part of it back with you as points. We are paid per purchase, not per trader who succeeds, and we have no financial interest in whether you pass an evaluation.
What that conflict means in practice: we make more money when you buy more evaluations. That is a real incentive and you should read anything on this site with it in mind. It is also why the two things we deliberately do not build are a ranking that claims one firm is better than another on unverified grounds, and any suggestion that buying more attempts improves your odds.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim that you will pass an evaluation, that you will be funded, or that you will make money. Nothing on this site is a projection of trading returns.
- We do not claim that any firm listed here is safe, solvent, well-run or likely to pay you. We have not audited them and we are not in a position to.
- We do not offer financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy anything.
- We do not promise a specific reward rate. The rate is a versioned configuration and has not been finalised.
The risks of what you are buying
A prop-firm evaluation is a fee paid for the chance to demonstrate skill against a set of rules. Most people who buy one do not pass it. Breaching a rule — often a drawdown rule, often by accident — ends the attempt and the fee is not returned. Trading involves risk, including on simulated capital where the loss is the fee rather than the position.
Firms in this sector also fail. A firm can change its rules, suspend payouts, lose access to its trading platform, or close entirely, and a reward from us does not protect you from any of that.
Do not buy an evaluation with money you cannot afford to lose, and do not buy one because a reward is attached to it. The reward is worth something only if you were buying anyway.
Eligibility
The service is intended for people aged 18 or over, in countries where both we and the relevant firm can lawfully operate. Firms exclude specific countries; we have not independently verified those exclusions, so each firm page says so rather than printing a list we cannot stand behind.
What is real here, and what is not
The directory is real. Every firm, price, profit target and drawdown rule is something we read on a named page on a named date, and both are printed on the challenge. Where a firm does not publish something plainly, we write “not published” instead of guessing.
The rewards are not running. We have no agreement with any firm listed here. Nobody paid to be included, nobody can pay for placement, and we are not paid when you buy — the links go straight to the firm. So no challenge on this site shows a cashback figure, because there is no commission behind it to pay one.
If you create an account, the dashboard shows the reward machinery working end to end — click, settlement, points, redemption — against a single example firm we invented and named as such. That is a product preview, not a record of anything that happened. It never appears in the public directory, and no real firm's name is ever attached to it.
We spell this out because a rewards platform that quietly blurred that line would be failing the first test it sets itself.
If anything on this site ever asks you for a prop-firm password, a trading account login, or your card details, it is not us and you should not give it. We have no use for any of those and never will.

The part that is not a joke
Degen on the outside. Boringly honest on the inside.
The brand is loud because the audience is. The ledger underneath it is not. Reward status language is defined in one file and read by every screen, so no page can quietly invent a friendlier word for “we have not been paid yet”.
A trader should never see an available reward unless PropDegenerate can prove where it came from, why the trader is eligible, that the corresponding commission settled, and how the reward can be fulfilled.
What we will never do
- Take payment for a challenge. You buy from the firm, at their price, on their checkout.
- Store your card details. We never see them.
- Ask for your prop-firm login or trading credentials.
- Place, copy, recommend or manage a single trade.
- Tell you a challenge will be passed, or that funding or profit is coming.
- Call ourselves an authorised representative of a firm we have no signed agreement with.
- Let anyone sell, gift or transfer rewards to another person.
- Show you an available reward before the commission behind it has settled.
